Interviewed 12/9/08

First symptoms of MS were 18 years ago. In the months before seeing John, symptoms were getting noticeably worse. Been seeing John for over a year and in that time has had no worsening of symptoms, no relapses and no bad day.

“The MS has stayed still. I feel stronger. I have more energy. I can work much more and I need less sleep – less than my wife now.”

Roy still does 5 to 15 minutes of head clearing exercises daily and can feel it helping. For example, when he comes home from work tired, he starts to notice a slight visual problem in his right eye when watching TV. This goes away completely when he does the head clearing.

“Actually my eyes are so much better I don’t even need glasses for reading any more”.

His wife points out that they wouldn’t bother getting up at 5am to spend the day travelling here and back to Norway if it didn’t work. She feels it is really worth it.

Roy won’t need to come back for 7 months now, and after that, probably not for a whole year. “It is absolutely worth the money, even with the airfare”, she adds. Roy’s wife has noticed how much his mood has improved since seeing John. “I like him better now; we have a better time together. We can talk about things more.”

“People with MS really can’t afford to bottle things up. I remind him to do his head clearing when he is upset about something in the family.”

Had MS for 22 years and was slowly getting worse. Three or four years ago she started deteriorating faster. Now the MS has stopped getting any worse, since first seeing John a year ago. Now she feels confident that it will not get any worse. John recommends she next come back in 6 months for a check up. She says it is worth it – to check she is doing the exercises properly. “I do them every day, even though I still don’t really know what they do, but they seem to work.”

November 2018: Both Roy’s MS and Lorraine’s MS have not progressed in the last 10 years and they no longer need to come for treatment unless they become stressed in a way that they cannnot remove by themselves.
